Anchor Restaurant in Winfield

I’d like to give it a zero star but that’s not possible. I know the place changed owners and since then service and quality has gone way down! I guess all the good staff quit! Well when you go it it’s a seat yourself kind of place , so I sat down. Waited 15 min for a waitress or waiter to ask me if I wanted something to drink and hand me a menu. Nope didn’t happen. 3 times someone walked past me and didn’t even acknowledge me. So I left. This was my second time being there after they changed new owners, I won’t be going back, sad because I live in this town and I like to support local business. But that non service was unacceptable. The previous visit was just about as poor.

There were 10 of us. They gave us the back room , our server was wonderful. She took such good care of us and everyone was satisfied with their meal. Prices are reasonable.

Food was great and will deff go again!

Loved the bourbon burger on multiple occasions. Soups and salads are always good.

Recently the restaurant was sold to a new owner. It just has not been the same since. A lot of the awesome servers has moved on. The portions seem to be cut back as well. We were told it has a new name "Lighthouse" yet there is no signage reflecting the name? Hopefully it will get better soon.

Jake up front is an awesome friendly young man, with a great personality and work ethic, and a young man of character. Our future is better and brighter with young men like him in it. His parents are doing an amazing job.

Nice little place out of the way. A hidden gem good crab legs on friday night when they don't run out. Get there early!

I absolutely love this place. Loved it ever since the first time I went. I recommendvit to a lot of my friends and the family members that havent gone. My personal favorite is the bourbon glaze burger.

We were traveling through the area recently and decided to stop for lunch. For being busy after church on a Sunday, service was fast and friendly! We felt welcomed and right at home. The menu had a good variety - something for everyone and the food was excellent! We would definitely stop in again the next time we are in the area.

Good service and good food. Just surprised that people were smoking in there. Don't like to smell that when I'm eating!

I like Anchor's Restaurant but just a heads up...don't go on a hot day because their air conditioning doesn't keep up that we'll with the hot weather. But this last visit was good it wasn't that hot outside so it was comfortable in the restaurant. The food is always good and you get what you're money's worth. The staff is always friendly so over all I think it is a good place to eat at here in Lincoln County.

The food is consistently good. Hamburgers are great. Good size portions. The waitresses and waiters are always friendly.

Although it was fairly busy when I visited, the staff was helpful and friendly. The food was fantastic and the price was very reasonable. I'll be going back again.

Good food good service fair price

Our party of 15 was treated like family. Great food, great service. This restaurant is now the lighthouse.

This was perfect for the little town of Winfield. Burgers, sandwiches, chicken strips, and such. Nothing at all fancy but decent small town food. Friendly wait staff.

Decent burger and fries. Nothing too exciting. Son loves the chicken nachos. $25 for that

Its ok however name has changed to Lighthouse . Service was ok could have been better could have been worse too . Prices are ok.too. They do have specials they run not sure if its everyday or hit and miss.

Delicious food. Fast and continuous service. Extremely friendly staff. If you want "home cooked" Anchors is the place to be!
